Did this one on Sat. morning. On the way in, I saw 2 deer. On the way up, I heard voices and looked for other hikers but saw none. I figured I'd see them at the top or on the trail somewhere. Got to the top--nobody. Then on the way down, I heard the voices again. These 2 guys were scrambling up Pusch via a wash! As if the trail isn't tough enough?!? YOU GO!

The last time I was on Pusch, April of 2007, it was windy, and it has that reputation, but I tell you, on Sat., it was out of this world windy up there. I had to hunker down behind a rock and strap on my glasses lest they would have been ripped of my face. It got freakin' cold in that wind, too! Got up in 1.5 hrs, which I found to be a pretty good pace. Felt better about pigging out that evening at The B Line on Fourth Avenue after the Street Fair, that's for sure! Another amAZing day!
