Not sure if I'm doing a slightly deviated route, but logged 5.9 for visitor center through to the "end of Blackett's" sign: jogged as much as possible but not quite fit enough to run all the uphill switchbacks yet. Sunny/warm day but headed down pretty much right at sunset, so pleasant then. As always, cruise down is more of a controlled fall. Love the LS Bushido IIs for this trail overall. Was pretty aggressive with hydration and went through 1.5L of water but probably not needed. Ate one Cliff Razz gel and a Larabar. |
