| no partners | | | This is an outstanding hike, but involves significant class 3 rock scrambling at a few spots. Nothing technical. I've been to lots of high points in the Santa Catalinas but my group spent a lot of time at the top having lunch and looking at the gorgeous mountains, peaks, and valleys in every direction. One of the best out of Sabino Canyon, but not for everyone. Details are in the description, which covers only the off-trail portion. |
