| partners | | Bad day for the beach, so Deb, my sister and brother-in-law headed to Kitty Hawk.
I didn't realize that it was a National Monument and was able to use my Senior Parks pass to get us in.
We got out of the drizzle and went in to enjoy the museum first. Interesting info on Orville, Wilber and their exploits leading up to and thru their first successful flights in December of 1903.
Next we went out and walked the launch site and the 4 landings.
Next off to the memorial site on top of the hill. If you are interested in aviation at all, it's worth the visit. |
