| partners | | Got another NC hike in with Deb, my son Rob and his wife Lindsy before heading home to the furnace. We had temps in the mid 80's with high humidity, but this hike is covered with thick tree cover
This hike is in the Smoky Mountain National Park and follows Big Creek. You never lose the sound of the raging creek. We hiked to the falls took a break and enjoyed them for a while.

On the return, we hit up most of the short side trips to the creek, including one area where a few were enjoying a large pool.
