Leaving from 99th Ave and Lower Buckeye, I made my way southwest through some community bike paths to a gravel trail that follows a power line due east that aligns with Elwood street. Great mix of easy gravel and paved bike path with some tight squeeze gates and walls along with the pedestrian bridge over route 202 kept the morning interesting. Turned north at 51st Ave to catch the Roosevelt canal west under the 202 which turns into Durango street. Sound on 83rd Ave to Lower Buckeye and then west back to 99th Ave and absolutely delicious donuts! Diverse mix of residential, industrial, and agricultural areas. |
