There's 164 steps in a spiral staircase to the observation deck of the 125-foot structure with stunning views across the Columbia River to Washington and down the Oregon coast. Walked through town and enjoyed lunch and a beverage.
The Cathedral Tree Trail is a mile through the woods climbing from town below. You can also drive to the column. To visit you must buy a $5 annual pass. |
