| no partners | | | For our participation in the Outdoor Vitals 100, my brother and I did Section I of the PCT in Washington, White Pass to Snoqualmie Pass in an un-resupplied 7 days, finishing July 14. To round out the 100 miles, we took a few little side trips to American Lake, Crystal Lake, Stirrup Lake and Cottonwood Lake. We lucked out with the Washington weather. Like some mythical place, it only rained at night. Scenery was perfect. Recipes from Backcountry Foodie were delicious. No one got hurt. No blisters. Thanks to all the coaching from the OV team, this pair of old guys, 66 and 68, really enjoyed our trip. |
