| no partners | | | Big ride Tuesday! Started in FINS, took Maricopa trail over to Desert Foothills High School to catch Pirate trails. Actually got caught by another rider with a dog on Queen Anne's Revenge. Worked my way around to the Estrella Mountain Regional Park Iron Ranger. Third day out of four riding EMRP trails with no overlap! Did a little 5 mile loop in EMRP, sand on Gadsden was terrible today. From the Iron Ranger headed down Fenceline to GNODS. Did a modest loop on Big Kahuna and Footprints before heading home. Saw one quite rattlesnake that didn't want to give up his position forcing me to happily take a wide berth. Three hikers near the high school and 2 more at GNODS. In addition to the MTB'r on QAR, I passed a young fellow on a gravel bike(!) on Jolly Roger. |
