| no partners | | Got to stay at the boy scout camp for a couple days for a work retreat.
Interesting to check out the property after staying at other places in the area and hiking (and canyoneering) the creek many times over the past 25 years.
The property offers a lodge, bunkhouse cabins, campsites, meeting/dining hall, and outdoor activities including a small fishing pond, archery and sports court/playing fields.
I chose to camp, and enjoyed a lovely campsite ... there was some highway noise - but there were also elk bugling and birds singing. The weather was ideal.
Took a couple hikes downstream to the box canyon, and upstream to Christopher Creek Campground.
Still one of my favorite parts of this beautiful state! |
