| no partners | | The mineral content here is similar to Havasupai and we looked forward to some Havasu-falls-type action. However, with several days of rain, the river was running very silty. Still, the falls were raging and impressive. There is an eco trail that goes above the falls and upstream. We followed it a bit, despite the heavy rain, but ultimately turned around as the slick and exposed conditions were a bit much. On the bright side, we had the place to ourselves.  |
