| no partners | | We enjoyed the austerity of a cloudy winter's day with nobody else on the trail but us and some cows. It was doubly a great day because my brother was with us for a visit from Australia.
A little game that I played (to myself) was figuring out which plants still thought it was autumn and which ones thought it was already spring. Even though it was February 5th & should've been the dead of winter, many plants had not dropped their leaves yet. Also, there were some signs of life sprouting up already despite the "wiser" plants nearby who clearly knew that is was still the dead of winter.
I'll post pictures of this game I played as soon as I can figure out how.
