We had this one in mind for awhile. It was a pleasant surprise. We had the trail mostly to ourselves until on the way back out. A few creek crossings along the way. Not to worry about getting wet. For shallow and easily maneuverable. The were some at large bulls in the area roaming freely. There also was shade for the first few miles and then after that it opened up to better views. Several swimming holes along that way too. The canyon, we felt, was a cross between a Sedona Trail, Rogers Canyon and Cave Creek/Skunk Trail. |
