| no partners | | Second short hike in Valley of Fire State Park. This one packs a huge punch in a short distance. Awesome views all around and leads to an overlook of a striking red rock amphitheater.
I'll add photos of Elephant Rock as well here, though not located on this trail. (It's at the western entrance to the park, a short distance (0.1 mi.) from the entry station. The best elephant rock I've seen (among several so-named geologic features). |
