Was in the area and decided to trail run to the top and back to the truck. About three miles total. Last time I was there there really wasn’t a trail and it was a bushwhack. Now there is a real trail albeit a lot more gradual. If they didn’t allow horses I imagine the trail would be more smooth and even. However I suspect the trail is soft when wet and consequently it is pocked with horse foot prints. Clouds were nice and scenery was good.
