Waited :wist: at the Peralta trailhead for Wally and Alex to come down from Pinyon Camp to do a hike. I don't know if they drank to much of Te-wa's brew or ? There was a Ranger at the trailhead so I enjoyed his stories while I waited. We decided to do a shorter hike but it was still quite a workout for me.On the way out we came across the Ranger I talked to earlier and he told us the dog that just passed us a few minutes ago bit him.If there is one person you don't want your dog to bite I think it would be the Ranger! Alex showed us Bluff Springs first then we came back and went up Ely-Anderson Trail. Nice climb and a lot of peaks before you get to the real summit.Nice, close views of Weaver's Needle then down to the Terrapin Trail. Wally spotted a backpack beside the trail and we found out in a little while from SAR it might belong to three hiker's missing. :scared: The parking lot was closed for the search when we got back. Nice overcast day.Lots of water. Great hike. Thanks to Wally and Alex for going.
