| no partners | | The Ruiz Trail intersects the Hope Camp Trail in two places a half mile apart. A loop can be made by connecting with the Coyote Wash Trail for 1.5 miles. I did a modified version of the loop to get a couple more miles and some extra gain.
Though things are drying out here there were still lots of wildflowers to be seen. I also came across a dback on the return on the Hope Camp Trail.
Nice little Mother's Day hike.  |
