Kelly wanted to hike the Alta trail, and since it's been a while I reluctantly relented :lol:
The gate off of Central Ave doesn't open until 5 AM then you drive a few miles to the "triangle" where the new parking lot is located.
Sunrise was pretty. We also saw a couple small rainbows. A speckled rattlesnake made an appearance.
We stopped by Maricopa and Star Peaks before descending. Nobody else on the trails.
