A group of us went back to Red Rock Spring to make another attempt to locate the water collector / inlet to the pipe that feeds the spring box (concrete trough). Success! We located the steel collector and cleaned up the screen on the end of the pipe inside the collector. This substantially increased the flow into the spring box

Now that we located the collector we plan to come back and make a few more improvements. Temporarily cap the pipe and remove sediment and root mess from the collector. Replace the screen on the end of the pipe. Bury the collector the way it was but with a sign showing its location.
