First day in Zion. Took the shuttle around, visiting several of the stops. The Riverside Walk takes off from grotto 9. It is a paved path that parallels the Virgin River for about a 1 mile before terminating at the river. Pleasant walk with minimal elevation change. We were hiking it around 1 in the afternoon. Very busy. At that time of day most of the people hiking in were just doing the Walk, though a few looked to be prepared to head up the Narrows. Saw a decent number coming back from the Narrows. Looked fun. Maybe some future visit. We just went to the end and enjoyed the views.
