I was scouting around for the climbing routes on the mountain. I climbed up a steep screw slope to the west and checked out the routes from the base, then I found a good use trail to get back down and around to the saddle and climbed the smaller peak. Checked out the bolted area where we would need to toprope from, some nice exposure on the side. Hopefully I can a change to check it out one day.

Had an Owl dive down on Emma and I on the way down from the climbing area. Took 2 runs at us, not sure if we were near it's nest or not. Thought it was coming for us though. Couldn't get a picture of it in flight but did get two with my P&S while it was on an outcropping.
