Hiked to Window Peak then back down to Window Rock today. About 10 others on the lower 1/2 of the trail, from the overgrowth I would say that MOST of the trail does not see much use. The trail was fairly easy to follow if your familiar with other Catalina Hikes. Tons of yellow wildflowers everywhere. Saw a 6' long snake as it slithered under Tommy's walking steps and made me jump in the air. Not sure what kind it was, it didn't rattle and was brown and tan, up around 6k' so kind of cool I thought for snake country. Also saw a huge centipede on the way down. The register on top of Window rock has been there since 2001 and I doubt it has 100 signatures in it. Mostly groups from SAHC.

Nice day for a hike.
