Got to the Cow Flat trail #55 and decided to take that instead of continuing on Bonanza Bill which seemed to peter out. I wasn't interested in bushwacking in tall grass during snake season. Cow Flat trail was easy to follow. Turned around when the skies darkened with rain. *the dirt road in from rte 191 was in good condition. A truck is the way to go but a car can certainly make it to the trailhead. *Across the road from the trailhead, there was a nice dispersed camp spot on the AZ/NM state line. |
