| no partners | | Second time back. The park is basically a maze of “horse trails” with a particular loop that is marked with rather vague painted metal posts. Today I deliberately took side trails as I had the opportunity to do so. That was good for more mileage and more interesting terrain, but quite trashy in places. Lots of air traffic today, but there is a good sized airport nearby so that should be no surprise. Saw no horses but plenty of their deposits. A few hikers on the main loop, and one guy on a mountain bike despite all the signage saying the trails were for hikers and horses only, no bikes.  |
