radiacode track @ https://map.radiaverse.com/tracks/2746b ... -111.00875 again I forgot to record it at times. :( nothing overly spicy.

Day 1: The actual parking lot was blocked by two small fallen trees, we parked off to the side near the gate. Reynolds creek was flowing much more heavily than I thought it would be, though if I had thought about it more and all the snow on Armer I could have guessed that. Found a day use only sign that was washed down (tossed from a pavilion at the group camp?) and carried it around for kicks and LNT. We ended up crossing it a few times and then just staying a couple hundred feet high to the north. Slow going, but not terrible. Found a nice little camp with time to spare so that worked out.

Day 2: Going down Reynolds wasn't gonna be fun due to flow even with the one bypass planned so we cut up a drainage which was pleasantly open. A bit more overgrown heading up towards 6346 (found an oddly isolated not very good visibility small ruin near it) then finally opened up nearing the plateau past 6212. Slow and tedious due to brush and stunted Junipers but never insanely dense and thankfully not very thorny. Found a very pleasant base camp, which was harder than expected given open low angle terrain due to the ground being fairly soft and muddy in most places. Only carried up 12L of water this time heh as we were now planning on dry camping on the plateau.

Day 3: Day hike day to various little viewpoints. Lots of cow damage in nice resting spots, but enjoyed the views of Reynolds, Park, and Salome. No fencing for wilderness boundaries yet again, turns out there's an AZ state law that land that was used for ranching pre WPA waives the WPA for ranchers which makes sense thinking of Salome, Ancha, and White Canyon Wilderness conditions not to mention the National Monument on Paria Plateau. In the latter case it's taxpayers covering the cost of infrastructure so a corporation can get tax breaks, yay. Anyways, aside from cow damage it was a really fun day with some great views.

Day 4: The drop I researched worked well - a little more zigging and zagging than expected and the one questionable section wasn't too bad. Bashing through brush while on collapsing scree was a new experience for me.

flowing very well, some knee to waist high pools. not sure I'd call it "heavy" but that's subjective.
