| partners | | Since learning the location of this ancient Native American- Salado Culture Site in YR2011, I had wanted to visit but knew better than to attempt it by myself. The timing was never good for numerous prior visits to this area until this planned late Oct'19 week trip.
Oregon_Hiker had previously visited this one in Oct'12 (occupation ~AD1312 to 1317). It was questionable if I was going to be able to persuade him for another bushwhack/deathmarch a second time 
Fortunately, it worked out for one of our 6 planned hike days. From our campsite [ Camp Grasshopper - Sierra Ancha FR235-C/Site#1 ] we had a bit of a drive to reach the location where we would start this begining trail/off-trail hike.
