I tied a few trails together and Wally was on board with it. We hiked Desperado trail, North Star trail, Saguaro Loop, Serenity Loop, and Interpretive Trail. We got in a mile or two before the sun hit us with some bonus shade on Saguaro. North Star was short but had the best climb. Trails were in ok shape. Palo Verde and Ironwood were blooming. Only saw 2 cars and 2 people along with a car coming in as we were leaving. Pretty quiet out there today except for the one Diamondback. Wally saw him in time and his rattle worked really well. He was on Serenity loop. Another enjoyable outing with Wally! Like HAZ, he rocks. |
