| no partners | | Such a beautiful place. I tried hard not to let the crowds ruin it for me - and I think I succeeded by keeping my original purpose in mind... My mom's always dreamed of seeing one of those amazing places I'm always going, and this was a great way to bring her to a slot canyon. Very little effort involved, and it was such a fun adventure for us all. I ended up just as dirty as I might have from hours in a remote slot, however, thanks to all the dust and dirt flying through the air and a few muddy spots from the rains the week before.
From there we continued driving north toward our ultimate goal at Bryce Canyon NP. Took a little detour to the old Paria townsite and movie set in the Grand Staircase Escalante Mon. The whole area is just magic. |
