We had all three kids with us and were just spending time together. We stopped in Verde Valley at Montezuma's Castle. On the way out we enjoyed some homemade Indian Fry Bread at the intersection back to I-17. We decided to head into Sedona and just find a trail. We stopped at the visitors center and they suggested Baldwin Trail and after paying our $5 off we went. It was a blast. We hopped on the rocks by the creek and ate our fill of blackberries.(Suffered the cuts and scratches to prove it but they were worth it) We also combined it with the Cathedral Trail and a section of the Templeton Trail. It was warm but almost all of the trail is in the trees. There were 20 or so other people that we saw but never felt as though it was crowded. We had plenty of space to ourselves. We heard at least 4 other languages being spoken which gave it an international flare. |
