| no partners | | A good three days in the in the Blue Primitive Area. Started at the Fritz Ranch and made our way NE to the Little Blue. We camped just NW of the slot canyons. The ground was a bit rocky, but it was manageable and made for a great staging area.
The springs were a nice reprieve the next morning. The man-made pool is not spectacular, but the temperature of the water will certainly open your eyes. A larger pool below the man-made pool is much more comfortable and is deep enough for a full body soak. We spent the rest of the time exploring the slot canyon and cliff jumping. There is a great spot for a quick jump at the beginning of the slot canyon, about a .25 of a mile before the hot springs.
