| no partners | | Headed west due to road closures on the 101. Wanted to see the petroglyphs. My Honda CRV enjoyed the drive and performed admirably (I was a little worried but it was all good).
Highlight of the day was having lunch in the shade across from the petroglyphs. It was a great day for walking.
Saw four people who were leaving the petroglyph area right as we were arriving.
It was a long drive, longer than I expected. But it's not like it's far away, it's only out near 557th Avenue (see the images).
It would be nice to climb the area a bit more, but we would have to come back without our dog (who is very scary as he tries to "climb"). |
