The clouds looked truly evil, but we were determined. After parking a vehicle at the bottom, we drove to the Turkey Flat Trailhead, and began our hike. For most of the hike, we were in the clouds. Although we had little in the way of views, the Oregon-like hiking experience was awesome! There were wildflowers everywhere, having been brought out by a ridiculously wet monsoon season. Near the bottom of the trail, we exited the clouds, and the sun even came out a little. Even with limited visibility, this was a beautiful hike. |
