Started from the trailhead at the end of the road, and headed uphill. Lots of snowmelt made for a muddy trail in places, but the kids loved it. This is a popular trail, so no solitude like we'd had for the two days prior. Only a couple of snowy spots directly on the trail, which were not an issue. We turned around at the Bristlecone grove, which was really neat to see. On the way back down, we made a side trip to Teresa Lake to see what that was all about. Pretty lake, full to the brim. Fun little hike, with some nice views as we got higher up. |
