| partners | | My first trip ever to Patagonia Lake State Park.
Was so amazed at all the desert snow still left from the storm 2 days ago on our 2 hour drive out!
Arrived at 9am to 22 degree temps and first just walked around visiting with the staff trying to warm up before hiking.
We started our hike with the Overlook Trail for the scenic views down on the lake/park.
Then did the Sonoita Creek/Black Hawk loop.
Enjoyed all 3 trails!
We then left the park and drove back to Patagonia for a walk around the shops and some tacos before heading back home to Safford.
We had a great time and agreed to return again someday to see some more of this area.

| partners | | after spending the long weekend camping in the patagonia area, we decided to head to patagonia lake to see if bobby could get any trout. he didn't catch any fish, but we had a good time, nonetheless. it's a pretty area and the lake has a neat pedestrian bridge. |
