| partners | | | This was a peak I’ve had some interest in for a bit so James and I decided to tackle it. I’m not sure if we went the best route or not, but it was quite a bit of scrambling towards the top. The Mcdowells have so many jagged rocks too! I actually tore my legs up pretty good not wearing full pants on this one, oops! Anyway, we made it up there and it was cool to see all of the other trails from above. The views had lots of houses so it wasn’t my favorite. There looked to be a way to get down from the backside but we didn’t want to chance the route finding without a ton of daylight left, so we headed back the way we came. I’m glad I bagged the peak, but I probably wouldn’t repeat it. |

on every saddle some had scratch marks next to it and some was covered where the scratch marks were. It was good to get this done heading up. I've taken the route down a few times.
