A group of us finished the brushing that was started 2 weeks ago on AZT #25 about a mile west from the Two Ravens junction.

A short hike to check out this recently completed connector trail. With its completion, there is now a contiguous 21-mile route that circles the town of Pine, utilizing this and other existing trails.

Cool, breezy, and rainy conditions today. I'd advise staying off this trail when wet; it was slicker than snot during my hike after the rain.

Another day working on the reroute above Oak Spring. Good sized group of 9 continued with benching and tread work. Great weather.

There is a reroute just above Oak Spring to take the trail off a steep eroded slope and build 800 feet of new trail with great views to the south and west (including The Mazatzals!). Five of us began the work by clearing a 10 to 12-foot-wide corridor of thick brush and tree limbs.
