Hiked out trial 316 to the forest boundary. Forest Service trail guide says 1.5 miles, think it was more like 1. Then took trial 317 to 315 and back to the parking lot. 3 miles all together. Great views of Thumb Butte, Granite Mountain, Little Granite and eve the San Francisco Peaks on an overcast and cool day. |
