Interesting litte trail. Can be difficult to find at times, nice uphill start to get your heart beating. Ends at a pretty steep cliff.

Did the Black Mesa loop with a side trip up Black Top Mesa to look at the ORO rock. New shoes need to be broken in more, but otherwise a great day to be hiking.

Thanks to the clear and correct directions provided by Kanode, I was able to find the roost. After two failed attempts using the wrong directions posted on this site I was finally able to make it. With the over growth that obscured the trail finding it was tricky at times.

Hiked to the top of Navajo Mountain. Very steep and rough, but the veiw is amazing. Don't know how many miles, but it was an all day adventure. Had a Navajo guide who told me about the area.
