| no partners | | There was plenty of snow, some areas were slippery. On the way up you can hear the waterfalls down below, but it was not accessible. There is a creek about 2.5 miles which was frozen. The trail was very narrow in some areas. I stopped at about 3.5 miles which was an elevation gain of 1,900 feet and turned back. Too cold for me, besides my feet was wet and numb. It was a nice change to hike in the snow, the dogs loved it. If your planning to hike this trail in the next few weeks I suggest taking a pole. |
