I attempted to continue on this trail to the Ridgeline; however, I didn't have much luck. I was following the directions set forth in Liu's "60 Hikes within 60 Miles of Phoenix". Unfortunately, I must have missed the correct wash leading to the top. I merely ended up scaling a rather steep cliff and until I could go no higher. It was rough going and extremely dangerous on the way down! I don't recommend trying this...and especially not as a solo hike!

This is one of the best hikes in the Phoenix area. It would make an exceptionally good hike for out-of-town guests...provided that they could handle the 7.4 miles.
