Great trip with the guys. The fishing was amazing, anytime of day you could catch one. All together in 2 days of fishing we caught over 100 bass. We kept 15 or so, we ate very well. We didnt see any bear but you can sure see the signs everywhere you look.

This is a amazing oasis in the desert. Every corner has something new to offer, waterfalls, springs, wild berries and a lot of wildlife. We were able to encounter deer, raccoon and a skunk that did not want to leave our campsite. He came back in the bight while Chad and I were talking in our hammocks, without knowing he was there he got underneath me and brushed his tail across my face. He seemed very custom around humans and did not have a stinch at all. Within 5 minutes of him leaving we had a raccoon only a few feet from us eating dog food. After that we didnt sleep much lol

Love going to this area, went back 1 week after and the area we always camp was just involved in a fire clearing, so its a little black now, it should look great for us next year though.

Great hike, was going to do Club Cabin Trail but, on the first night a big storm came in with rain and high winds and I stayed up all night coughing. I didnt really feel I had a few days left in me to conquer the trail this weekend. I will be returning in a couple of weeks.

This was a awesome trip. I saw that TE-WA went so I figured it must be good and I was not let down. The first day we went straight to the cabin and kicked back. Besides doing a major cleaning on the place, you can now see the floor in the back room. The second day we ran into some boy scouts and went along with them to some old mine taverns. This trail is about 2 1/2 miles on your way out, except going left along the river to go up the side of the mountain you go right and bush wack for a quarter mile till you come along a once used jeep or wagon trail. The mines are about 1 1/2 miles from the creek. Very beautiful area and there is another creek running in between the 2 mines. So great time and will be returning soon, hopefully to find some of the caves and The Cave of a Thousand Eyes.

We took Dogie Trail to Sycamore Creek and finished the day at Taylor's Cabin. Started the hike at 9 a.m. and arrived at the cabin at 1:30. We ended up having the cabin to ourselves all day and night. It is a beautiful camping spot, cant ask for much more. The river is flowing a couple of feet deep right now, so we never had to worry about water. Found a cave near the cabin and spent some time exploring the surrounding area. Overall a great weekend, next time bringing more friends.

Amazing trail to do in Winter. Over a foot of snow and not much of a trail to follow besides the bobcat prints. Was able to ice skate the river for about 4 miles out of the trail until the river turned to slush. First night sleeping on the snow made it a little cold but the second night we slept in a cave. This was much more comfortable and easy to bare. Cannot wait to go back for Death Hollow in the Summer.
