| partners | | I agree that the most dangerous part of this hike is the descent from the base of the needle back to the trail bring you to the Peralta saddle. Very loose, steep terrain with heavy packs makes ankles go break.
There was a new bolt placed at the top of what can be considered to be the first pitch - Also, there are a set of slings w locking biners just below the rock that you would crawl under, around or over at the top pf pitch 2. I am not sure what the intent for these were/are, but they made for a really convenient backpack holder while I crawled under the rock, and then pulled up to retrieve my bag. |
