Hit the Lost Goldmine Trail early this morning with Parker. Boy, did he have a blast. Easy hike that sort of winds our around the base of the superstition through gently rolling foothills. Gorgeous flora and fauna and light traffic, especially around 7-7:30am. Great for dogs, families. Note: This is a multi-use trail. Saw horse droppings and had to step aside for a mountain biker on the way back.

Beautiful day, beautiful hike. Saw lots of ground squirrels......my dog wanted to chase every single one of them! Not too crowded. The trail is popular for hikers, horses and bikers.

Took the kiddos up the Goldmine Trail in San Tan Mountain Regional Park. Had lunch at the top and descended onto the Dynamite Trail. We connected to the San Tan Trail and took the Moonlight Trail back to the Nature Center. Lovely day for a hike. The kids were pretty wiped out by the end, though :)
