We did Alamo Peak Observatory Off Trail last week... now, to add to the misery it is time to enjoy the Observatory hike on trail, but then tag on a couple of additional loops to net some higher, if not harder, totals. If everyone is doing well, we will do the peak then loop around t100 and t111... before we head off the mountain... with the open option to tag an additional peak on the way home. Mileage could get up close to 30 miles with 7,000' elevation gain... or... 8,000'?
Not for the late riser! 6am departure from Alamo Canyon trailhead!
