This archaeological site is North America's largest bison cliff jump, used by Native peoples for at least 1,000 years before the arrival of Lewis and Clark.
The image shows tipis, which were the primary form of residence for many Native American tribes living on the Great Plains.

In most tribes, women were generally both the makers and the owners of the tipis, although men sometimes provided assistance in their construction. They were often made from the skins of buffalo that the men hunted. Women tanned the skins and then sewed them into a pattern to create a semi-circular one-piece covering.
