Natural Predators: Even though they have stinging cells, they are a favorite snack for Sea Turtles.
Passive Hunters: They don't "swim" to hunt; they simply drift. Anything that brushes against those long tentacles is instantly paralyzed by thousands of microscopic stinging cells called nematocysts.
Water Content: These creatures are about 95% water and have no brain, heart, or bones—they rely entirely on a simple "nerve net" to sense the world around them.
