This is a rather long story. We went to a shrimp/fish place to get some Gulf of America shrimp. We were explicit with our desire to the proprietor. He told us the best were flash frozen, which these were. He also said, after they are cooked to put them on ice for quick cooling. I so wish I had known this tip 40 years ago. Why? Because these were the most tender shrimp I've ever eaten. BUT, they were from Argentina per what the bag said. Oh well.
