Maria is a vegan so she tried some of that non-meat stuff on me with the meatless spaghetti balls and sausage... I admire her for trying but no bueno, ha! All of the other stuff was pretty good though. Her husband was an executive chef in some very famous places and they owned a restaurant and bakery in Pine Mountain before he passed away a few years ago. The champagne is from South Africa so that was very special for her to bring that out. They lived at the Palace of the Lost City outside of Sun City, S Africa where John was the Food and Beverage Director. The menus for special dinners were written on ostrich eggs.
