The weather was perfect. Day 1 we started out around 9 A.M. and took our time and lots of pictures. It was just under 5 hours when we reached Supai Village. We checked in at the Lodge and were pleasantly surprised with the condition of our rooms. Day 2 we hiked down to Havasu Falls and Mooney Falls. What a beautiful place. The campground had clean restrooms, (another pleasant surprise). Pictures don't do this place justice. Day 3 we started out at 6:45 A.M. to try to get in as much of our hike as possible before the sun starting beating down on us. We made great time and we got to the hilltop at 9:15 A.M. WOW!! While we were in the village we did eat dinner at the cafe. The place was clean and food was okay. The store across the way carried your basic food but was very high priced. The lodge had a large courtyard with picnic tables for their guests to enjoy. All in all this was a very enjoyable weekend. |
