and we scampered back down. I was hoping to let Caroline loose (relatively speaking) on the mesa top to play, but instead she got covered in rain gear! She's a trooper - didn't make much of a fuss. We played on the rocks in the parking lot for an hour before getting back in the car. She needs leg stretching time. Ate dinner at Nic's in Cottonwood - good grief I love that place. Why does Crema close at 6pm? We made it in just before they closed for really good ice cream -- don't miss the salt caramel.
